Fact Less than 5% of road accidents are caused by speeding

Enjoy a beer on the patio on a summers eve? If the council have their way it will soon become illegal. Coventry City Council want to make the  entire city a booze free zone, with pubs little more than drinking dens. Do something now! or your summer BBQ will be very dry.

Facts & figures: There are lies, damned lies & statistics someone once said (Mark Twain). An example of which can be found in the letter currently being sent by the council to households across Coventry. They wish to make Coventry an alcohol free zone and use various statistics to make their case. "One fifth of crime is of a violent nature", and "Half of that is alcohol related" In other words 90% of all crime is not alcohol related. So stop wasting money on silly leaflet campaigns and spend it where it's needed.
